April 14th Wednesday - Sunny and cool
Here we are at Coggin Chevrolet in Jacksonville, FL waiting for parts. Once the fellows got an idea of what needed to be done for parts and such. They have been ordered and hopefully they will be here tomorrow and we will be able to leave tomorrow afternoon, but it may be Friday before we can leave here.
I have been negotiating with our previous service center in Clearwater, Fl to have some assistance in the repair order for this trip. So far everyone I have spoken with has been very gracious, and will accept a fax of the complete estimate when it is complete and that probably won’t be until tomorrow when we will be towed into the garage and the repairs started.
As I said last night we went to bed early and as we laid in bed we talked about all of the noises we have listened to since we left home in February, from the sound of snow dripping off the trees, birds in the warmer climates, airplanes, helicopters, boats, ships, fog horn warnings, ambulances, the dead silence at Monument Lake, and last night of a train, behind us and construction workers in front of us. All parts of our adventure with our RV.
So now this afternoon, Lou is back to reading his book and I have finished my knitting project and on to something new and different. Thank goodness Estee is happy doing whatever we are doing. Speaking of thanks, we both thanked God last night for our safety yesterday, that incident could have been a deadly experience
