Shopping - Drive - Wedding - Beach Walk

March 13 - Saturday Much Cooler and very windy. Low 66 degrees and High 70 degrees.

We awoke during the night and it was cold and the wind was blowing across our bed, we quickly closed some windows and grabbed the blanket. Today has been on the cool side, but much more to my liking and for Estee.

We went to the NEX this am and got groceries for the weekend and the first of the week. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. We stopped at the Ben Franklin store again and I returned my knitting needles and got acrylic and think they will work great for knitting while we are driving. Also picked up some beautiful silk flowers to decorate our bedroom and bathroom with. After reading Krista's blog yesterday, she inspired me. I also used twinkles lights around them, and even DH thinks they look very homey.

I fixed lunch here today and got he house cleaned up and was going to do our ironing, but Lou wanted to go for a ride, so we gathered up Estee and we were off. It is hard to explain what it is like in Old Town Key West, you can't stir the kids with a stick, they are so thick and having a great time. There are police all over keeping things under control. You see they are celebrating
St Patrick's Day and all decked out with green hats, sun glasses and of course, green beer. We headed for the beach and I am so glad we did.

We approached an area where they had been a beautiful wedding, and I got a quick snap of the bride and groom and I was given some flowers that were used in the wedding, so have fresh flowers on the table tonight. We ended up walking on the beach with Estee and then back to the airport to watch planes come and go.

We fixed dinner here tonight, as tomorrow, we are meeting friends after church and walking to the hotel and taking a cruise and having dinner on an Island. This will be new and different for Lou and I and we are looking forward to this.

With the time change we are off to showers and into bed a little earlier for a big day tomorrow.
