August 14th - Wednesday - Rainy

We changed our plans today and decided to do something inside, due to the rain.  We went to the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and I found I didn't know much about the gentleman.  I knew he had invented the telephone, but didn't know he was involved in so much more.

He was even responsible for the first aircraft that flew in Canada and of course, that got Lou's attention. His father is the one that invented the phonetic alphabet for the deaf and then on to teach it to the deaf, and Alexander  Graham Bell was one of the people responsible for Helen Keller being able to read and communicate.
